Surf Camps
During our surf camps, surfing and having fun go hand in hand. You'll be outdoors all day on Scheveningen beach and make new friends in the water. For over 25 years, the Hart Beach crew has been creating the coolest adventures for and with kids during school holidays. Your child will come home with a healthy dose of self-confidence and sparkling eyes. Come join us!
Kids' lessons
With great passion and enthusiasm, we at Hart Beach provide kids' lessons. The kids discover their perseverance and push boundaries. This creates great excitement! Do you have a swimming diploma? Then you can already join. Come with the whole family and let's make some fun!

Adult lessons
16+ and learning to surf? Go for it! During the surf lessons, all aspects of surfing are covered. Each surf lesson takes into account the level of the participants, which our certified instructors respond to. This allows you to discover that you can do and dare more than you thought. Super cool!
Rent
No room for your own wetsuit and board or still discovering if surfing is for you? Then you've come to the right place. We have a complete range of surf rentals for everyone. Is a swimming certificate mandatory for participating in a surf lesson at Hart Beach?
Yes, to participate in a surfing or SUP lesson, you must have a swimming certificate.
How do I log in to my surf school account?
For the surf school, we use a different system than the webshop. Click on this link to log in if you have surfed with us before.
Where are you located and where can I park?
Hart Beach Surfschool is located on Scheveningen beach, on the north side of the pier at the southern end of the Boulevard. Address: Strandweg 3B, 2586 JK Scheveningen.
There is a Q-Park to be found on Strandweg.
On sunny days and weekends, it can be busy. For an up-to-date overview of parking options, we refer you to The Hague's parking information.
Until what time can I surf and what time do you close?
Hart Beach is open 365 days a year, from 8:30 AM until sunset. This means you can rent equipment from us up to one hour before sunset. On very good days, we sometimes open earlier; you can find this information on our Instagram and in our WhatsApp community.
How do I know if the class is going ahead?
Lessons are dependent on the waves and the weather. We always confirm all lessons one day in advance via email. If you have any doubts, please contact us at 070-3502591 or surfschool@hartbeach.nl.
Are you open in winter as well?
Indeed - we are open 365 days a year! In fact, in winter, the waves are often better and more beautiful than in summer. No excuse to stay home!
Are the lockers free?
The lockers are free if you bring your own lock. If you don't have a lock, you can buy one at the counter for €5.00.
Do you have showers and changing rooms? Can I use these even if I bring my own equipment?
We have changing rooms with showers and lockers. These are primarily intended for guests of the surf school and the restaurant. Do you have your own surf equipment? Then enjoy a snack or drink at our restaurant – that way you'll also be one of our guests! 😊
