Walden Mega Magic - Fusion HD - FCS II - 2 + 1 Fin - Longboard

The Mega Magic is now also available in Surftech's Fusion HD technology. The Mega has become one of the best-selling Walden designs ever. This board is so popular because it allows you to go shorter, regardless of your physique or skill level.

The Mega Magic is the Magic Model with the most compressed volume. Walden takes volume from the length and distributes it across the width and thickness, while maintaining the familiar Magic Model performance. The Mega Magic has all the famous Magic Model elements: the patented concave bottom, hard rails, and plenty of rocker.

The Mega is about 1/2-1” thicker and 1-2” wider than a standard Magic Model. The Mega Magic floats like a board that is 12-18" longer. For the (larger) surfer who normally rides a 10'0: with the Mega, he or she can ride a 9'0 without sacrificing buoyancy or stability. This board is recommended for the surfer who wants to go shorter without immediately switching to a shortboard or giving up buoyancy.

About Walden

Steve Walden, called by many the “Father of the Modern Longboard,” shaped his first surfboard in 1961 at age thirteen and never looked back. Eight years later, the South California native opened his first board factory and shop in Huntington Beach, before moving to the North Shore of Oahu in 1972, where he made a name for himself as a prolific longboard shaper.
