8’0, 8’6, 9’0 – these are super versatile, user-friendly longboards. With an average entry rocker and a full outline, you get a board that glides in the small stuff and that you can ride from the nose. Progressive surfers will find a lively mid-section, with a slightly pulled-in tail and enough release to keep the board fast and loose. The 8’0 has a thruster setup for a funboard feel, the 8’6 and 9’0 have the standard 2+1 longboard setup. In the Wood design, all sizes have a 2+1 fin setup.

The 9’1 and 9’6 are more traditional noseriders, focused on stability and trim. They are excellent for both progressing and experienced longboarders who want to surf traditionally in smaller waves. With little rocker and a wide nose, they are super stable and have glide in abundance. The 9’1 has a harder rail through the tail with a double concave vee for maneuverability. The 9’6 has softer rails and a rolled bottom for classic trim and hold.

Built in TET construction, these boards are extremely strong and durable, designed to withstand impacts in and out of the water while remaining light and easy to handle.

Construction - TET

The original Torq construction: a completely new way to build surfboards.

First, a blank is blown to the exact final size with a measured amount of EPS. These are not shaped by hand or CNC'd; they are right the first time: perfect shape, perfect weight, perfect foam structure.

The blank is covered with biaxial fiberglass cloth and Torq's unique Shield Skin, with a computer-mixed and measured volume of epoxy resin.

A second press mold, CNC-milled from a single block of aluminum with precision, cures the resin and is heated for perfect resin distribution.

What are the benefits?

Accuracy: no shaping, sanding, or guesswork. The entire process is controlled; foam density, resin content, fin inserts.

Low waste: no shaping means no shaping waste. The cloth is laid dry, so remnants are recyclable. Resin is measured by weight and applied, with nothing dripping onto the floor.

Strength: biaxial cloth is stronger than regular woven cloth, and a lot can be used thanks to the efficient layup. Torq's blanks are made of high-density EPS, and epoxy resin is stronger than polyester.

Sustainable: a low-waste process plus a long lifespan means less impact. Production runs on solar energy. All materials are sourced locally. The boards leave the factory in sleek, chlorine-free boxes with plastic-free packaging material. The fin boxes are made from GRS and UL certified recycled plastic.

How do they surf?

The feel is similar to PU. Due to the extra fiberglass, they absorb chatter well, without the super light response of the TEC. They feel pleasantly light and neutral: responsive yet forgiving.
