8’0, 8’6, 9’0 – these are super versatile, user-friendly longboards. With a moderate entry rocker and a full outline, you get a board that glides in small surf and can be ridden from the nose. Progressive surfers will find a lively mid-section, with a slightly pulled-in tail and enough release to keep the board fast and loose. The 8’0 has a thruster setup for a funboard feel, while the 8’6 and 9’0 have the standard 2+1 longboard setup.

The 9’1 and 9’6 are more traditional noseriders, focused on stability and trim. They are excellent for both progressing and experienced longboarders who want to surf traditionally in smaller waves. With little rocker and a wide nose, they are super stable and have plenty of glide. The 9’1 has a harder rail through the tail with a double concave vee for maneuverability. The 9’6 has softer rails and a rolled bottom for classic trim and hold.

Construction - TET CS (Carbon Strip)

The Torq TET-CS, or Carbon Strip, is the next level in Torq's Revolutionary Epoxy Technology: the same advanced TET process, but with a performance-oriented layup. Thanks to the carbon strip, the laminate thickness can be reduced while maintaining strength and stiffness, so the boards are lighter yet super strong.

All TET-CS boards now have an extra wood layer, sandwiched between the two biaxial deck layers. This wood composite is incredibly ding resistant, without adding the stiffness normally associated with strength.
