The Malibu is perhaps the most versatile longboard in the DURA-TEC series. It is an excellent combination of stability and maneuverability, with just enough length to make it easy to control.

Its user-friendly design offers sufficient buoyancy to catch all types of waves, while the performance-oriented shape allows for "down-the-line" fun for beginner to intermediate surfers.

The Malibu gives lightweights and smaller surfers an easy-to-carry, durable, and stable "big-board" feel to start with.

However, heavier or larger surfers will enjoy the medium length and proven performance for their transition to shorter boards and bigger surf conditions. Our original 7'9" Malibu earned a reputation for versatility, durability, and affordable surfing.

DURA-TEC combines an ultra-durable polyethylene exterior (like a kayak, but lighter in weight) with a polyurethane foam core (as found in traditional surfboards).
