About size and shape

Most board bags come in various shapes, tailored to the type of surfboard: Fish, Shortboard, Longboard, and so on. The main difference lies in the nose shape and width. If in doubt, choose a board bag with a wider nose - a shortboard will fit fine in a Fish bag, and if you're bringing two surfboards, extra space is only convenient.

A ROAM surfboard bag is designed to fit the board size stated on it: a 6'8 bag will fit a 6'8 board. If the bag itself is 6'8 long, it's actually a 6'6 bag. Not every brand does this, so double-check.
