ROAM Coffin Boardbag
Description
Designed with functional simplicity: a bag with many hidden features, with everything you need and nothing you don't. On the outside, it's very simple: durable 600D nylon and webbing over 10mm high-density padding, with reinforced sidewalls and extra protection at the nose and tail. There are 2 grab handles at the nose and tail plus 2 padded carrying handles on top, positioned slightly forward so you can drag the bag. The shoulder strap is buckle-free and detachable, and there are 4 utility loops for maximum securing of everything. Inside, you'll find straps and inlays to keep your boards separated, plus 7 interior pockets for surf essentials like wax. The zippers are heavy-duty, corrosion-free molded plastic zippers with matching pullers.
This is understated design: pure function and practical convenience when you need it most. Made for 3-4 boards in sizes up to 8'0 or 2 boards from 8'0. The bags are cut long, allowing space for extra padding or for boards packed in day bags.

About size and shape
Most board bags come in various shapes to suit the type of surfboard: fish, shortboard, longboard, and so on. The main difference is in the shape of the nose and the width. If you're unsure, choose a board bag with a wider nose. A shortboard fits perfectly in a fish bag, and with two surfboards, extra space is only convenient.
A ROAM board bag is made to fit the board it's labeled for: a 6'8 board fits in a 6'8 bag. If the bag itself is 6'8" long, it's actually a 6'6 bag. Not all brands do this, so check carefully.
The width is also important, especially if you're packing 2 or more surfboards.
Also, pay attention to the shape of the tail and whether there's a tail box or an extendable fin compartment, so you can put a surfboard with fins in it. Always remove fins when traveling by plane.
