Recycling and sustainability at Ritual

Each frame is made from a combination of recycled materials and is hand-assembled, polished, and packaged for a more sustainable end product. The recycled materials come from diverse pre- and post-consumer plastic waste streams and together form the polycarbonate frames.

The recycled materials for the polycarbonate frames are sourced through production partners who guarantee GRS certification. GRS is an independent organization that monitors and certifies both materials and the supply chain.

Ritual aims to change the way the industry thinks about waste material and how it is reused.

With surfing at its core, Ritual Vision draws inspiration from the surf films and surf photography of yesteryear, taking a deep dive into the archives of the golden years of surf culture, when individuality was given free rein.

Ritual is energized by the eccentric people who inspire with their unique approach to surfing and all their creative projects.

Over time, Ritual brings together a strong team of these groundbreaking individuals who constantly push boundaries and march to their own beat.

With over 20 years in the surf industry as a professional surfer, filmmaker, photographer, and brand builder.

Ritual Vision brought in Dion Agius as the brand's Creative Director.

With over 15 years of experience in the eyewear industry, specializing in eyewear design and marketing, Dion knows how to bring together diverse, talented groups of people to consistently create something unique and special.

Dion treats Ritual as an art project and was given free rein to unleash his creativity on Ritual Vision. This is the driving force behind the brand's creative projects.
