Description

The O’Neill Hyperfreak 3/2mm+ is widely regarded as the most flexible and lightweight wetsuit on the market. Designed for surfers who demand zero drag, this wetsuit features O’Neill’s exclusive TechnoButter 3 (TB3) and TB3X neoprene. The “Plus” (+) designation means that O’Neill has added an extra 0.5 mm of thickness throughout (making it effectively a 3.5/2.5 mm), which provides significantly more warmth than a standard 3/2 mm whilst retaining the feather-light feel of a thinner wetsuit.

With its minimal-seam design and high-quality F.U.Z.E. chest zip, the Hyperfreak ensures maximum paddling power and unrestricted freedom of movement. If you want a wetsuit that feels as though you’re wearing nothing at all whilst keeping you lovely and warm in cool water, then the Hyperfreak is the industry standard.

TechnoButter 3 (Body & Legs): O’Neill’s exclusive, hydrophobic neoprene with a feather-light ENVY foam core. It is 20% lighter and absorbs 30% less water than previous generations.
TechnoButter 3X (Arms & Shoulders): The lightest, softest and most stretchy neoprene ever made. This pre-stretched material feels supple straight away, from the very first time you wear it.
F.U.Z.E. Closure (Chest Zip): The Front Upper Zip Entry utilises a free-floating zip panel and an anti-flush barrier with drainage holes to keep you dry and mobile.
Minimal Seam Design: Strategic seam placement and larger panels increase flexibility and comfort, whilst reducing the risk of chafing.
TB3X Fully Taped Seams: The lightest seam tape available, bonded with water-based adhesive to triple-glued seams, ensuring a watertight seal that stretches with you.
3/2mm+ (Plus) Thickness: An extra 0.5 mm of neoprene across all panels offers the warmth of a 4/3 mm suit with the flexibility of a 3/2 mm suit.
