Ocean & Earth

Founded by Brian Cregan and partners in 1978, Ocean & Earth started by producing standard surfing products. Ocean & Earth grew by establishing a network of retailers in Australia. The staff had extensive knowledge of surfing, which aided in product development. However, other activities were developed through trial and error.

By the mid-to-late 1980s, Ocean & Earth's product range had grown significantly, encompassing a wide array of surf accessories, backpacks, and apparel that still forms the backbone of the company. In 2010, the 'World's Strongest Leash' was introduced: a fully molded surf leash instead of a three-piece heat-welded surf leash.
