Modern Golden Rule - PU - FCS II - 2 + 1 Fin - Longboard

Modern has worked on the Golden Rule to make it a user-friendly all-round longboard with which you can easily ride every wave. The entire design of the board emphasizes stability, control, and smooth turning. The Golden Rule is all about volume where you need it: enough foam under your upper body for fast paddling, and a thinned-out tail so that the board performs in your turns. OUTLINE: The Golden Rule has a very balanced outline. The nose is pulled in for a sportier feel. A parallel mid-section creates a huge standing area, and the tail is tapered so you can easily break a line and turn smoothly.

ROCKER: Nicely low at the entry ensures fast paddling, allowing you to get on the wave earlier. Relaxed through the middle, but with enough curve for a smooth turning arc on the wave face. And finally, there is some extra lift in the tail to make turning easier for surfers who are progressing in their skill level.

CONTOURS: The Golden Rule has a slight concave in the nose, followed by a simplified soft vee in the mid-section, which transitions into vee with a double concave through the tail. This design promotes smoother rail-to-rail transitions on a longer board, still provides control in steeper sections, and delivers a feeling of pivoting sensitivity when turning directly from the tail.

FOIL: The nose and tail have been thinned compared to previous models and taper more smoothly into the rails. This provides extra stability and makes this board easy to ride, regardless of your skill level.

PERFORMANCE: The volume distribution of the Golden Rule gives you the greatest possible chance for maximum fun on the wave. The ease with which you can get into and then surf the wave appeals to both beginner longboarders and seasoned veterans.
