Standard Epoxy

Ding All’s standard kit for repairing epoxy or polyester Ding boards when UV light is not available and fibreglass cloth is required. This kit contains Ultra Clear, SS 2000 resin, which is used in the construction of epoxy surfboards. The resin serves a dual purpose and can also be used to repair polyester surfboards. The kit comes complete with the following materials to provide a straightforward method for small or medium-sized surfboard repairs. NOTE: Use 1/4" layers of filled epoxy resin to fill larger holes or cavities to prevent the resin from overheating.

Kit contains

• 2 oz. (56 ml) ultra-clear epoxy resin plus 1 oz. (28 ml) hardener – non-yellowing
  
• 5 cm x 34 cm fibreglass cloth patch
  
• Double-sided sanding pad (one side smooth (120 grit), one side coarse (80 grit)) for easy sanding.
  
• 1 beaker, 3 mixing sticks – Note: the beaker can be reused once the cured resin from previous repairs has been removed
  
• 1 filler sheet – Can be used to cover small dents for a super-smooth finish once it has cured. Simply peel off.
