A unique, full-on beaked-nose, winged swallow speed fish with classic San Diego roots, the RNF Retro is built to fly in the lightest conditions, but with larger fins and good rail work, it can work its magic in fast overhead surf of any size. A stable, flat deck with smoothly tapered rails and plenty of volume at the front paddles effortlessly and glides through gentle sections. The forgiving, rounded nose transitions into a gentle single concave beneath your front foot and changes to a double concave spiral V beneath your back foot – all of which works in tandem with the sidecut and winged swallow shape to provide control over the fast, wide tail, perfect for powerful carves and torqued arcs in the pocket or on the open face.
