Mango Jam – Single Fin

The Mango Jam is a high-performance, modern evolution of the traditional longboard. Designed by world champion Kai Sallas, this ‘sporty’ log is intended to bridge the gap between classic trim and contemporary manoeuvrability. The board excels in a wide range of conditions, from small sliders to double-overhead surf, making it a versatile one-board quiver for both point breaks and beach breaks.

Technical Design & Shape Features

• Optimised Outline: The widest point of the Mango Jam is situated just behind the centre. This shift creates extra curve in the rear half of the board, resulting in incredibly smooth and responsive rail-to-rail transitions.
• Refined Rail Profile: Unlike traditional logs with soft rails, the Mango Jam features hard rails with a subtle ‘tucked edge’ in the tail. This design offers ‘bite’ and release, allowing the board to maintain speed during carves and high-line trims.
• Medium Rocker & Bottom Contour: A balanced medium rocker ensures the board remains functional in steeper sections without sacrificing glide. The slight V-shaped bottom makes it easier to engage the rails, enhancing dynamic performance in critical sections.
• Performance Range: Whilst retaining the soul of a log, the technical refinements ensure the board can handle substantial waves, offering stability and control when the swell exceeds head height.
