Hayden The Misc. FF - FCS II - Surfboard

We wanted to design a twin to improve your surfing pleasure. The MISC. is an extraordinary twin (or 2+1) that will truly ride like your performance board: top to bottom, but you'll fly around the wave with that drag-free twin-fin feeling. Amazingly driven, super fast, and loose above the lip when seeking release, the MISC. is a favorite among team riders, now available for those seeking that elusive performance twin.

In short, the MISC. is a versatile, performance-oriented twin fin. In any case, the design of this twin is meant to ride and feel like a performance board, with the subtle hints traditionally only felt with a twin in the areas of the wave where you push for release. The outline uniquely uses a wing behind the front fins, allowing the water to release later. Therefore, the board maintains sufficient grip on the bottom and top.

The MISC. also has the wide point of the outline, which brings a lot of volume forward in the shape, resulting in great paddling speed. By placing the twin fins slightly straighter, a lot of drag-free speed along the line is also created. The fin boxes are also placed further back in the board, providing more hold and control.

Technically, the bottom contours on the MISC. are a rolled V at the entry, a slight single concave under the front foot that runs through the board and exits at the tail.
