Haydenshapes Hypto Krypto TWIN FF - FCS II - 5 Fin - Shortboard

The Hypto Krypto Twin is a performance keel fin design, versatile and forgiving, making it easy to transition from your other boards to this shape. It features a slightly tighter swallow tail and fins set further back, allowing the tail to sink into the wave for control and smooth rail-to-rail transitions. It feels and rides very much like the Hypto Krypto, with the wide point forward, plenty of volume under your chest, and concaves that are smooth and fast to surf on. A great all-round keel fin twin design that feels confident under your feet in all types of waves.

The Hypto Krypto Twin is suitable for intermediate to experienced surfers. Ride it in the same dimensions as your Hypto Krypto, or 4-5” shorter than your shortboard with 1-3L extra volume.

With plenty of paddle power and ample speed, you can draw tight lines and maintain flow in all types of waves up to 8ft faces. From beach breaks and reefs to point breaks, anywhere you want to surf across the face with speed.

Technology

FutureFlex, designed and patented by Haydenshapes founder Hayden Cox, is a rich blend of modern, specially developed materials and contemporary design thinking for high-performance surfing. The construction combines a stringerless, custom-shaped high-density EPS core, laminated with biaxial fiberglass, epoxy resin, and a parabolic carbon fiber frame. That carbon fiber frame within the laminate is key to the board's performance. FutureFlex is designed to maximize speed and drive, minimize torsion, and store energy to release it as you steer through a turn.
