Vector 3/2 Alpha Series 5-fin Set

WHAT IS A VECTOR FOIL 

It is a patented Futures foil with a concave surface on the inside of the front of the fins, which increases the surface area, water adhesion and lift.

WHAT IS A 3/2 

The 3/2 complements the Vector with an additional 3 degrees of rake and 2 degrees of toe-in, adding a twist to the foil for improved planing angles during sharp turns, generating lift and grip deeper into the manoeuvre.

PERFORMANCE BENEFITS OF THE VECTOR 3/2 

The Vector 3/2 is a speed-generating fin that maximises water grip across multiple planing surfaces, resulting in lift and reduced drag. The concave surface and the twist in the upper half provide unique grip and projection, ensuring smooth speed in smaller waves and powerful connection and increased speed in larger swell, resulting in faster and improved turns. Helps link turns whilst generating and maintaining speed, offering a more predictable, engaged experience.

BENEFITS OF THE SCIMITAR TIP 

Originally developed in 2006, the Scimitar Tip features a flattened edge at the rear end of the fin, which reduces the turning radius by shortening the length of the template. This complements the lift and speed design of the 3/2 foil, and enhances the feeling of release during turns whilst maximising the foil’s characteristics across the entire fin template.

The Alpha range is made from recycled fishing net combined with our C6 air-filled carbon. The 5-fin set is designed to be ridden in both Thruster and Quad set-ups, packaged as a set for greater versatility in your quiver.
