"The Mayhem 3.0 is an all-new template. With the trends in modern HP shortboards asking for more curve under the back foot for critical pocket surfing, we felt the need to evolve the fins along with the board rockers. We wanted to add a bit more base, with increased rake and a narrower tapered tip than our long-running thruster template.

The idea with the base and rake is more hold and drive when laying into turns deep, and to maintain drive through tight arcs. The reduced tip area, with a tapered flex, adds release and freedom for quick transitions in and out of turns, when needed. We took these fins to the wave pools for controlled, repeatable testing, as well as working with our crew of surfers of varying sizes and abilities for feedback and input."
