A tribute to Rob’s competitive surfing days, the Machado Groove Fin Set is a high-performance template designed for Rob’s ongoing quest for the ultimate surfing experience. This is the most performance-oriented fin Rob has ever designed.

Rob paid particular attention to the construction of this fin, aiming to create a technically progressive flex. The combination of various carbon lay-ups and the bamboo core makes the leading edge stiffer, whilst the trailing edge offers greater flexibility. This progressive flex provides extra resilience and liveliness in every turn, whilst maintaining the direct response and drive required for high-performance surfing.

The Machado Groove Fin Set is supplied as a 5-fin set, as Rob originally designed it as a Thruster but soon became partial to the Quad configuration. Available in Medium/Large, slightly larger than a standard Medium but smaller than a Large.
