The story goes like this: rediscovering an old feeling turned out to be the decisive moment for Yago in securing his first world title.

Switching back to FCS early in his title campaign sparked something that made a real difference. His confidence in his equipment grew. His boards felt magical, he felt magical, and the magic happened.

But professional surfers remain obsessively concerned with their equipment. Fast forward to 2026: the champion has a new signature line with FCS, consisting of fins, pad, and leash.

YAGO DORA SIGNATURE TRACTION

This is the new Yago Dora grip. The first of its kind, built for larger feet. 5mm was added to each side panel to accommodate his size 11, then shaped with a modern, angular look. The kick features a double-angle backstop that starts at 45 degrees and then continues vertically. Beveled edges on the kick reduce water resistance, there's also a coffin arch bar, a tilted square groove, and finally, perforations in the side panels provide a bit more feel.

The Yago Dora Signature Traction Pad is an unprecedented design, specially developed for larger feet without compromising performance. Built around Yago's stance and size 11 shoe, with wider side panels and a refined outline for a firm, locked-in feel and a rugged, modern look.

Every detail is well thought out, from the unique double-angle kick to the perforations that enhance the feel. The result is a traction pad that gives you control and responsiveness when you push hard through your turns.
