The FCS Julian Wilson Treadlite Traction is Julian Wilson's signature traction pad, from FCS's Treadlite line.

You stick a traction pad on the deck above your fins, where your back foot stands. It gives you grip without wax on that part of your board, so your foot stays where you put it: during the take-off, in your turns, and when you push on the tail for drive.

A pad with a top surfer's name on it is meant for surfers who actively ride their board. Before sticking it on, check if the shape fits the tail of your board, clean and dry the deck thoroughly, and then press the pad firmly.
