The FCS II Skindog Single Fin, developed in collaboration with British longboard champion Ben Skinner, gives you a powerful, stable, and fast setup for versatile longboarding, now also available as an 8" single fin with large side bytes.

Overview

The Skindog Single Fin, available in 7" and the new 8" size, is designed for a powerful yet fluid feel and is perfect for maintaining speed and control in larger waves. Combined with the Skindog Side Bytes, these fins form a 2 + 1 setup that increases drive, stability, and maneuverability. The side bytes add speed and control, allowing you to handle critical sections and remain stable through long, sweeping turns. Together, they deliver a dynamic and versatile longboarding experience, ideal for both traditional and progressive surf styles.

Both the Skindog Single Fin and the Side Bytes feature Performance Core (PC) construction with innovative AirCore technology. This includes a pressed polyurethane foam core that mimics the geometric foil of the fin, reducing the amount of fiberglass needed in the resin transfer molding (RTM) process. The result is a significantly lighter fin with precise flex properties. AirCore technology allows for complete control of flex, which improves response and control while maintaining durability and performance in various wave conditions.

Performance Core + AirCore

Fins with AirCore Technology feature a pressed polyurethane foam core that mimics the geometric foil of the fin. AirCore technology reduces the amount of fiberglass required in the RTM molding process, making the fin much lighter and allowing for full control of the flex.
