Overview

The Skindog Single Fin, available in 7" and the new 8" size, is designed for a powerful yet fluid feel, perfect for maintaining speed and control in larger waves. Combined with the Skindog Side Bytes, these fins form a 2 + 1 setup that enhances drive, stability, and maneuverability. The side bytes add speed and control, allowing you to tackle critical sections and remain stable through long, sweeping turns. Together, they deliver a dynamic and versatile longboard experience, ideal for both traditional and progressive surfing styles.

Both the Skindog Single Fin and the Side Bytes feature Performance Core (PC) construction with innovative AirCore technology. This includes a pressed polyurethane foam core that mimics the geometric foil of the fin, reducing the amount of fiberglass needed in the resin transfer molding (RTM) process. The result is a significantly lighter fin with precise flex characteristics. AirCore technology allows for full control of flex, improving response and control while maintaining durability and performance in varying wave conditions.

Open faces and down-the-line waves, and certainly good in point and reef breaks.
