FCS II Sharpeye Performance Core Thruster Fins

The 'Sharp Eye' shaper fin by Marcio Zouvi. A versatile all-round Performance Core fin with a larger base, ideal for controlled power turns in critical sections.

Overview

The SE template was developed by Marcio Zouvi and belongs to the Accelerator Family. It has been refined with the help of the elite SE team, including Kanoa Igarashi. The outline is very similar to the Performer and Accelerator templates, with slightly more sweep and a little less surface area in the tip. The SE fin has recently been updated with carbon tissue inlays and AirCore construction, making it stiffer than the original version and capable of handling more power and speed when pushed hard through turns.

This all-rounder releases a bit faster and feels somewhat looser than the Performer/Accelerator, but due to its flat inner foil, it responds incredibly quickly as soon as you initiate a turn. Perfect for light to medium-weight surfers who surf fast and like to stay lively on their feet.

Performance Core

Performance Core (PC) fins are made using a multi-layer resin transfer molding process. The flex pattern in PC fins gradually extends from the base to the tip, maintaining drive and hold through a turn. This versatile fin material is lightweight and can be used in a variety of conditions.
