Overview

The Performer Quad Keel is based on the idea of converting a full-size keel template into a quad set, by removing surface area from the back of the fin and reshaping it into a compact quad rear.

The side fins were designed from scratch, with a leading edge inspired by the popular Modern Keel and a trailing edge similar to the Reactor template. The low quad rear is compact and seamlessly matches the look of the side fins, almost like a little brother.

The flowing lines directly translate to how this set feels in the water. The sturdy, rounded tip and large surface area of all 4 fins provide exceptional acceleration from the take-off and plenty of speed and drive down the line. In the turn, the set gives a familiar feel, with enough responsiveness to break the line and turn in a tight arc when the wave becomes steeper and more critical.

This set is ideally suited for smaller, weaker waves and fits many hybrid tri-quad models with more volume and quad-specific models such as the Machado Seaside Fish.

Performance Glass

Performance Glass (PG) fins are machine cut from layers of solid fiberglass. These fins are stiff and are widely used by professional surfers, as the flex maintains its integrity under immense forces and in the most extreme conditions and situations.
