FCS II Mick Fanning Glass Fibre Fusion Thruster Fins
Description
Mick Fanning's signature FCS II MF fin, now in Glass Fibre Fusion for fast and powerful surfing.
Overview
Mick Fanning's Glass Fibre Fusion fin features Rapid Flex Recovery, enabled by High Tension Tip Flex. This dynamic and responsive flex pattern captures energy and immediately returns to its original shape. This delivers increased speed and acceleration between turns, and more control at critical moments.
The MF template, considered the pinnacle of high-performance surfing and a worldwide favourite among professionals, is now available in FCS's advanced Glass Fibre Fusion (GFF) technology. This Swiss-developed construction uses robotic precision automation and high-quality materials, combining a unidirectional fibreglass skin with a base made of 65% Short Strand Fibreglass + Resin Polymer composite. The result is a lightweight fin with exceptional strength and a responsive flex pattern. For you, this means an efficient conversion of power into acceleration, seamless rail-to-rail control at high speed, and a strong sense of connection between board and fin.
'This is the new benchmark for precision engineering in a moulded performance surfboard fin. GFF construction feels very close to my black and white Performance Core fins that I use daily. In fact, I can use them in a wider range of conditions, from waist-high to well overhead. These fins are stiff enough to push as hard as I want, yet provide that flare and release that are important for the way I like to surf.' - Mick Fanning

Glass Fibre Fusion
Glass Fibre Fusion (GFF) construction combines a unidirectional fibreglass skin with a robust composite base of 65% Short Strand Fibreglass and Resin Polymer. This results in a strong, lightweight fin with a smooth and predictable feel. The developed firm flex pattern captures the surfer's power and returns it in the form of acceleration and speed. This construction once again raises the bar for fin performance.
