FCS II Christenson Performance Glass Thruster Fins

Overview

The Christenson tri is tuned to Christenson's performance and hybrid models. The difference from other sets lies in the Performance Glass material (PG, solid layers of fiberglass) and a custom foil developed for a medium to firm flex pattern.

The set uses the Accelerator thruster set. The Accelerator template is known as a versatile all-rounder that balances speed, flow, and response, with extra control through turns thanks to a fuller tip profile.

Combined with the Christenson Quad Rears, which are based on the Performer quad trailer, the quad set delivers a very solid and reliable feel that you can push hard without fear of losing control.

Christenson chose the PG material because it works on a wide range of his board models. PG is slightly heavier than FCS's PC fins but gives a solid, connected feel when you're looking for drive in turns and carves.

Performance Glass

Performance Glass (PG) fins are machine cut from layers of solid fiberglass. These fins are stiff and widely used by professional surfers, as their flex maintains integrity under immense force and in the most extreme conditions and situations.
