The new PC Carbon Essential Series combines a high-quality blend of carbon tissue with FCS's ultralight AirCore construction. This results in a more accessible flex, with faster acceleration from the get-go and a smoother feel through your turns.

Performance Core Carbon

The new PC Carbon construction with Linear Flex creates a 3D twist and roll action. The result is a fast, highly responsive fin that feels much smoother through turns. PCC fins are suitable for fast surfing and are favored by advanced surfers who make explosive turns on the critical sections of the wave.

The new PCC Essential Series fins are built with AirCore technology: a pressed polyurethane foam core that mimics the geometric foil of the fin. AirCore allows FCS to make a much lighter fin and fully control the flex.

The internal carbon frame is specifically tuned to each template. The switch to epoxy resin and the addition of a carbon twill at the base has made the flex pattern more accessible. Stiffness in the lower half of the fin enhances drive and acceleration from the take-off, while a softer flex in the upper half provides a smoother and more predictable feel in the turn.
