Overview

This unique pad is designed and custom-made for Carissa Moore and other female surfers and is slightly smaller, so it fits boards with a narrower tail and smaller foot sizes.

Carissa's distinctive 'Double SS' curve is reflected in many parts of this pad. The uniquely curved, low kick has a moderate slope and a copperhead (teardrop-shaped) arch bar.

The curves continue into the side pieces, which flare out towards the rail and end just before the kick. This creates a sturdy center section, making the pad easy to position when gluing. The double diamond grooves are staggered: the grooves in the middle are at 0 degrees and those on the side pieces at 45 degrees, for opposing resistance and a 'locked-in' feel for the surfer.
