Composition and active ingredients

Cold cream: according to the European Pharmacopoeia, cold cream is a preparation of beeswax, sweet almond oil, and rosewater. At EQ, these ingredients served as inspiration for the Protective Cream with Cold Cream, but it didn't stop there.

Organic reconstituted aloe vera gel: soothes and hydrates, for softer and more comfortable skin.

Organic sunflower oil: a nourishing emollient that softens the skin and promotes hydration.

Organic fair trade shea butter: rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, and other nutrients. Nourishes the skin and strengthens its natural barrier against external influences, for healthy and well-hydrated skin.

Plant-derived wax esters (jojoba, mimosa, and sunflower): wax esters soften and hydrate the skin while maintaining its natural skin barrier.

Organic coconut oil: rich in lauric acid, a saturated fatty acid that is particularly compatible with the skin, and in vitamins A and E. This nourishing oil hydrates and softens the skin and protects and soothes skin prone to redness by strengthening the natural skin barrier.

Organic fair trade virgin baobab oil (cold pressed): the baobab comes from Africa, has a wide, thick trunk that stores enormous amounts of water, and is considered a symbol of strength and resilience. Thanks to its hydrating, softening, and soothing properties, this oil is ideally suited for dry, rough skin that is prone to dehydration and discomfort.

Organic white beeswax: rich in fatty esters, fatty acids composed of hydrocarbons. It thickens the preparations in which it is used and enhances their film-forming properties. As a main ingredient of cold cream, as described in the European Pharmacopoeia, it strengthens the natural skin barrier and protects the face from external influences.

Organic virgin sweet almond oil: an ingredient from cold cream, whose composition is listed in the European Pharmacopoeia, rich in oleic acid (omega-9). Its nourishing, hydrating, and soothing properties have long made it the preferred oil for relieving dry skin.

Kau Pe hydrolate: the Kau Pe flower comes from Hawaii, where it is called Pua, and is a true symbol of the Marquesas Islands. According to legend, the first Pua flowers were brought to earth by Tane, the god of the forests. The flower is rich in mucilage and is known for its hydrating and soothing effects.

Extract of Myrothamnus flabellifolia, a desert plant known as the resurrection plant: Myrothamnus flabellifolia comes from the Kalahari Desert in Africa and is called the resurrection plant because it survives extreme conditions by going dormant for a long time. As soon as it comes into contact with even a little water, it recovers within a day. This plant extract helps cell membranes retain moisture, thus supporting rehydration and maintaining the natural skin barrier.

Natural edelweiss and monoi oil: symbolizes the point where warm and cold regions meet, where tropical islands meet snowy peaks. This unique combination is created by infusing edelweiss flowers from high alpine regions in monoi oil from tropical Tahiti, for hydrating properties that moisturize and nourish the skin.
