Yallingup, Western Australia, is the home and testing ground for Creatures products. Located on Western Australia’s wave-rich South West coast, the Yallingup surrounds have produced some of the world’s best surfers.

The region boasts multiple breaks within a relatively short stretch of coastline, most with a reputation for quality and power comparable to Hawaii. It is the perfect place to conceive, develop, and test surf products.

It was here in Yallingup that a young John Malloy established his roots after moving from Los Angeles in 1972. During the subsequent 4 years, he and a partner developed the world’s first urethane leash with injection molded parts to tackle the powerful local waves. That undertaking led to a passion for designing and developing surf accessories that continues to this day.
