Creative Army Jive+ SLX - FCS II - 2 + 1 Fin - Longboard

The Jive+ is derived from the original, performance-oriented Jive model. It’s still a sleek trimming machine and can rightly be called a responsive longboard. With the update, Creative Army has retained many of the original Jive features and added some extra volume for broader versatility.

OUTLINE: The sleek outline features a slightly pulled-in tail for better drive and acceleration off the take-off, and shorter, more curved turns on the wave face. The slightly straighter outline forward of the midpoint makes the board wider in the nose, thus delivering speed and long nose rides.

ROCKER: With an emphasis on all-round use, the Jive+ has a medium rocker with a flat panel through the mid-section. This allows the board to paddle effortlessly and flow through dead sections with minimal effort. A slight lift in the nose makes late take-offs easier and also aids in long nose rides. The slightly stronger curve in the tail provides room for shorter arcs when steering harder off your back foot.

CONTOURS: Subtle yet effective. The slight concave in the nose creates lift while you hang your toes over the edge. The flatter mid-section delivers speed and stable trim, and the subtly rolled vee through the rear half ensures silky smooth rail-to-rail transitions.

PERFORMANCE: An all-rounder that is very user-friendly and suits a wide range of surfers. The Jive+ paddles great, trims with plenty of speed, and turns when and where you want it to. Thanks to improvements in the front half, the board is truly enjoyable to ride in the nose, yet remains super-fast in its response when you initiate a nice turn. From flat to double overhead, this is one of the most fun longboards you’ll ever ride. Enjoy!

Construction - SLX

SLX construction delivers a controlled flex pattern by combining the versatility of epoxy materials with the advantage of lighter weight. All SLX boards feature an EPS core with a high-quality wood stringer and are hand-laminated with epoxy resin, biaxial fiberglass, and a specialized manufacturing process. With a high strength-to-weight ratio and designs CNC-milled directly from the shaper's files, SLX boards feel light, responsive, and very sensitive under your feet. These boards are extremely versatile, easy to ride, and applicable in diverse conditions.
