Creative Army Five Sugars PU - FCS II - 2 + 1 Fin - Longboard

The Five Sugars is one of the most versatile surfboards Creative Army has made. The modern rocker and higher volume make paddling and catching waves a dream. The board has a 2+1 fin setup, and the slight rolled vee in the back half ensures smooth, flowing rail-to-rail transitions. A flatter mid-section provides fast trimming, while the concave in the front half does its job on long, drawn-out nose rides in all sections of the wave. Perhaps you're a shortboarder looking for a board for smaller days, but you don't want a big beast and still want to roll off the top with enough speed. OUTLINE: This smooth, balanced outline features a slight pulled-in tail for drive and acceleration in your turns, and the fuller, generous nose aids in long nose rides in all sections of the wave.

ROCKER: With an emphasis on all-round use, the Five Sugars has a medium rocker with a flat panel through the mid-section. This makes the board paddle effortlessly and flow through dead sections with minimal effort. A slight lift in the nose makes late take-offs easier and also aids in fantastic nose rides, while the slight lift in the tail provides nice drive and smooth, short arcs in your turns.

CONTOURS: Subtle yet effective. The longer, deeper concave in the nose creates lift while you hang your toes over the edge. The flatter mid-section delivers speed and trim, and the slight rolled vee through the back half makes rail-to-rail transitions effortless.

DECK LAYUP: 2 x 6oz, 1 x 6oz deck patch

BOTTOM LAYUP: 1 x 6oz cloth, 1 x 6oz fin patch

PERFORMANCE: As an all-rounder, this board paddles great, trims with extra speed, and turns wherever you want it on the wave. Construction - Polyester (PU)

Polyester or PU construction uses traditional materials and laminating techniques and delivers a strong, reliable surfboard with a high-quality finish. All polyester boards are CNC-milled from the shaper's files and hand-laminated with quality components such as Hexcel fiberglass, Silmar resin, and Bennett foam. Traditional polyester boards have been at the forefront of performance surfing for years. These boards have a progressive flex pattern guided by a high-quality wood stringer and feel very reliable underfoot. Polyester performs in all conditions and can be adapted to a wide range of surfboard models.
