Jive + SLX – FCS II 1 + 2

The Jive+ is derived from the original performance-oriented Jive model. It remains a streamlined cruising machine and should, in all likelihood, be regarded as a responsive longboard. With the updated features, we’ve retained many of the original Jive’s characteristics and added a little more volume for a wider range of use.

Outline: The streamlined outline features a slightly tapered tail for better propulsion and acceleration from the starting point, as well as tighter turns on the face. The slightly straighter outline towards the centre increases the width at the front to create that speed and long-nose riding capability.

Rocker: With the emphasis on an ‘All-Rounder’, the Jive+ features a medium rocker with a flat panel through the centre. This makes the board easy to paddle and allows it to glide through those dead sections with minimal effort. A slight lift in the nose makes late take-offs easier and also aids extended nose rides. The slight increase in tail curvature allows for tighter turns when steering harder from your rear foot.

Contours: Subtle yet effective, the slight hollow in the nose creates lift as you hang your toes over the edge. Its flatter mid-section generates speed and trim stability, whilst the subtle rolled V-shape through the rear half ensures silky-smooth rail-to-rail transitions.

Performance: An ‘all-rounder’ that’s extremely user-friendly and suitable for a wide range of riders. The Jive+ paddles brilliantly, maintains speed brilliantly and turns wherever and whenever you want. With the improvements to the front section, we’ve made it a real pleasure to ride up front, yet it remains super responsive when carving a nice turn. From flat to double head-high, this is one of the most fun longboards you’ll ever ride. Enjoy!

Comes with a 2 + 1 fin setup featuring a custom CA single-fin template. Simply add side fins to improve control and manoeuvrability.
