Code Daily Driver PU - Futures - 3 Fin - Mid-Length
Description
The Daily Driver is your everyday performance shortboard - fast, responsive, and built to handle whatever the forecast throws at you.
Designed as a true all-rounder, it combines a modern performance outline with just enough forgiveness to keep everything flowing when the waves aren't perfect. A balanced rocker keeps it lively in the pocket while maintaining paddle speed and drive through flatter sections.
From punchy beach breaks to shoulder-high waves, this board delivers reliable performance without requiring a pro-level approach.
Fast when you push it. Easy when you don't.
Your daily driver, decoded.
Also available in EPS/Epoxy.
Fin(s) included: None.
Construction - PU/Poly
THE CLASSIC FEEL - PU is the benchmark for a reason.
Code's PU boards are built around a traditional polyurethane blank with a laminated fiberglass shell. That gives you the familiar flex, smooth rail engagement, and responsive feel that surfers have relied on for decades.
They feel natural in the water, draw clean lines, and respond exactly as you expect when you lean into a turn.
If you love that classic surfboard feel under your feet, PU is hard to beat. Simple. Proven.
Code Surfboards - Less Hype / More Waves
Surfing doesn't need more noise. It needs better boards.
Code Surfboards is built on a simple idea: making boards that surf well and last. No hype cycles. No limited drops. Just seriously good shapes made to be ridden every day.
Every model in the Code line is built around proven outlines, refined rockers, and a construction that balances performance and durability. These are boards designed by people who understand what works in the water – and then fine-tuned for how most surfers actually surf.
From quick beach break mornings to gentle point waves and messy onshore conditions: Code boards are built to get more fun out of realistic conditions.
Clean shapes. Thoughtful construction. Good looks.
That's Code.
About volume
The volume of a surfboard matters - but it's not the whole story.
Code first looks at balanced shapes, practical outlines, and real-world usability. The volume numbers are there to guide you, but how a board paddles and flows comes from the overall design.
Code boards are designed to be accessible without feeling oversized. This allows most surfers to ride them close to their normal volume while still having plenty of paddle power and control.
To find your ideal volume, divide your weight in kilograms by 2. Then add 5-10 liters if you are a beginner, or subtract 5-10 liters for advanced surfing.
In doubt? Choose the board that will help you catch more waves.
Because more waves = more fun.
Quick size guide
A simple rule of thumb when choosing your Code board:
Beginner surfers: choose a board with extra volume and length for stability and paddle power.
Intermediate surfers: ride close to your normal volume. If you're between two sizes, go slightly larger.
Experienced surfers: choose by feel. Most models can be ridden slightly smaller if you want more response.
PU VS EPS
Two constructions. Both built to surf well. The choice depends on how you want your board to feel in the water.
PU Construction
- Feel - classic, smooth and predictable
- Weight - slightly heavier
- Flex - traditional surfboard flex
- Paddling - balanced
- Durability - proven and reliable
- Best for - surfers who love the traditional feel
EPS Construction
- Feel - light, lively and responsive
- Weight - lighter
- Flex - faster rebound
- Paddling - extra buoyancy, easier paddling
- Durability - better strength-to-weight ratio
- Best for - surfers who want speed and lightweight
Choose PU if you want the traditional surfboard feel with smooth rail engagement and predictable flex.
Choose EPS if you want a lighter board with extra paddle power and a livelier response.
Whichever construction you choose, every Code board starts with the same thing: a well-crafted shape. Good outlines, balanced rockers, and practical volumes ensure a board surfs well. The construction then further refines the feel. Choose the version that suits your style, paddle out, and catch a few extra waves.
