The idea for it came to me while I was riding the original Dumpster Diver during the filming of "Out of the Rafters" and was amazed at how small and short the Dumpster Diver felt, and I wanted to build a longer - modernized version. - Dane Reynolds

The DD2 has a wider nose and tail, more nose and tail rocker, and a more subtle single concave. These updates, along with other adjustments, allow the board to excel in a wider range of conditions and let you shred as hard as you think you can!
