The idea came to me whilst I was riding the original Dumpster Diver during the filming of "Out of the Rafters" and was surprised at how small and short the Dumpster Diver felt; I wanted to build a longer, modernised version. – Dane Reynolds

The DD2 has a wider nose and tail, more nose and tail rocker, and a more subtle single concave. These updates, along with other tweaks, enable the board to excel in a wider range of conditions and let you tear it up as hard as you think you can!
