At Hart Beach, you don't settle for less. Thanks to our awesome collaboration with ROXY and Quiksilver, you always step into a top-quality wetsuit.
In the summer, you'll rock a 3/2mm or 4/3mm thickness, warm enough for the North Sea, but flexible enough for long surf sessions. Is it getting a bit colder outside? Then we'll provide you with a thick 5/4 suit, including boots, gloves, and a warm cap. We make sure the cold never stops you, 365 days a year!

Why lug around your own board when you can rent the latest shapes directly from us at the waterline? At Hart Beach, you rent super flexibly: you pay afterwards per quarter of an hour, so you're never tied to a time limit. Our crew will be happy to advise you on the board that works best in the Scheveningen surf at that moment. Includes use of our hot showers and changing rooms, so you can step onto the boulevard feeling fresh after your session.

Our punch card is the ideal way to rent affordably. Whether you're going alone or sharing the card with friends: you'll always have an advantage. The credit never expires, so whether the next session is tomorrow or next year, your board will be ready.
Yes, to participate in a surfing or SUP lesson, you must have a swimming certificate.
For the surf school, we use a different system than the webshop. Click on this link to log in if you have surfed with us before.
Hart Beach Surfschool is located on Scheveningen beach, on the north side of the pier at the southern end of the Boulevard. Address: Strandweg 3B, 2586 JK Scheveningen.
There is a Q-Park to be found on Strandweg.
On sunny days and weekends, it can be busy. For an up-to-date overview of parking options, we refer you to The Hague's parking information.
Hart Beach is open 365 days a year, from 8:30 AM until sunset. This means you can rent equipment from us up to one hour before sunset. On very good days, we sometimes open earlier; you can find this information on our Instagram and in our WhatsApp community.
Lessons are dependent on the waves and the weather. We always confirm all lessons one day in advance via email. If you have any doubts, please contact us at 070-3502591 or surfschool@hartbeach.nl.
Indeed - we are open 365 days a year! In fact, in winter, the waves are often better and more beautiful than in summer. No excuse to stay home!
The lockers are free if you bring your own lock. If you don't have a lock, you can buy one at the counter for €5.00.
We have changing rooms with showers and lockers. These are primarily intended for guests of the surf school and the restaurant. Do you have your own surf equipment? Then enjoy a snack or drink at our restaurant – that way you'll also be one of our guests! 😊
