ABOUT SURF & DARE
Surf&Durf offers psychomotor surf therapy to children and young people who could benefit from extra support in their social-emotional development.
Under the guidance of psychomotor therapists, we use surfing as a therapeutic tool to work on goals such as self-confidence, social skills, emotion regulation, and resilience.
In addition to surf therapy, we offer the Surf&Durf Club. Here, children and young people can continue surfing in a familiar environment after completing their therapy program. All Surf&Durf participants receive one-on-one supervision from their own buddy: a volunteer with experience in surfing and/or working with the target group.

Collaboration with Hart Beach
The collaboration with Hart Beach is of great value to Surf&Durf. We use Hart Beach's facilities for both our surf therapy and the Surf&Durf Club. The location offers a safe and familiar environment where participants can gather, change clothes, and shower, which contributes to structure, peace, and safety.
Hart Beach is also a pleasant meeting place for parents and caregivers. While the children participate in activities, there is space to meet each other, exchange experiences, or simply relax with a sea view.
Additionally, an experienced surf instructor from Hart Beach supports our groups in the water. This way, we combine therapeutic expertise with professional surf guidance. Together, we create a place where children, young people, and their families feel welcome, can grow, and gain positive experiences.
