Attention and love for people and nature

Hart Beach started small and has grown into a place where nature and surfing are central. We have achieved this by treating people and the environment with care and love. We incorporate this mission into our business processes, services, and products, and we share this core value with our staff and suppliers.

Since June 2020, we have been awarded the Golden Green Key. Green Key is the largest sustainability certification for the tourism and recreation sector in the Netherlands.

Organic & local

In our beach restaurant, we always work with local and seasonal products. Not only is this better for the environment, but seasonal products are also more flavorful. You won't see any plastic on our terrace, and your barista coffee is fair trade. Our wine selection includes a wide range of organic wines, which might even taste better.

Activities

Hart Beach organizes surf camps for kids every year. Besides surfing and having fun in and around the sea, we also make them aware of their environment. Beachcombing as an activity is fun, active, and helps clean up nicely.

We also offer this as an activity for companies and group outings and are delighted to see that it is increasingly chosen as part of a conscious lifestyle.

Hart Beach is anchored on Scheveningen beach, and from our beautiful year-round surf pavilion, we make use of the sea and nature every day. We are extremely grateful for that. We want to take good care of people and our environment, and that is why we are proud of the certification we have received for it.

What are the opening hours?

We are open 365 days a year from 8 AM to midnight (weather permitting).

What is the maximum group size for a meeting?

We offer two spaces. The boardroom can seat up to 16 people. The side terrace is used for groups of up to approx. 60 people seated; in a theatre setup or standing, it can accommodate up to approx. 80 guests.

What kind of meeting packages do you offer?

A meeting room can be rented for a full day (max. 8 hours) or a half day (max. 4 hours). This can be in the morning (08:30-12:30) or in the afternoon (13:00-17:00).

Can I pay by invoice?

For businesses, it is certainly possible to pay by invoice. In addition, we also work with e-invoicing for government agencies.

What are the lunch options for large groups?

Up to 20 people can order à la carte on site; see our restaurant menu here.
