These boards do exactly what they're supposed to do, but they have a bit more character. That character comes from imperfections in the craftsmanship involved in making these surfboards. Think of a color that isn't quite perfect, a logo that's slightly misaligned, or a small imperfection in the finish. If you can live with that, then this board is definitely for you.

"Great all-rounder. I've put mine through a lot, and it's still in top shape. Highly recommended."

8'0, 8'6, 9'0 - these are very versatile, easy-to-use longboards. With a medium entry rocker and a full outline, you get a board that glides in small waves and can be ridden from the nose. Progressive surfers will find a fast midsection and a slightly drawn-in tail, with enough release to keep the board fast and loose. The 8'0 has a thruster setup for a funboard feel, while the 8'6 and 9'0 have the standard 2+1 longboard setup. In the Wood design, all sizes have a 2+1 fin setup.

The 9'1 and 9'6 are more traditional noseriders, focused on stability and trim. They are excellent for both progressing and experienced longboarders who want to surf traditionally in smaller waves. With low rocker and a wide nose, they are super stable and have tons of glide. The 9'1 has a harder rail through the tail with a double concave vee for maneuverability. The 9'6 has softer rails and a rolled bottom for classic trim and hold.

Built with TET construction, these boards are extremely strong and durable, designed to withstand impacts in and out of the water while remaining light and manageable.

Fin(s) included: thruster set for the 8'0 and 2 + 1 for 8'6 - 9'0 - 9'1 - 9'6.

Construction - TET

The original Torq construction: a completely new way to build surfboards.

First, a blank is blown to its exact final size, with a measured amount of EPS. These blanks are not shaped by hand or CNC-milled; they are perfect in one go: perfect shape, perfect weight, perfect foam structure.

The blank is covered with biaxial fiberglass cloth and Torq's unique Shield Skin, with a computer-mixed and measured amount of epoxy resin.

A second pressing mold, precision CNC-milled from a single block of aluminum, is used to cure the resin. The mold is heated for perfect resin distribution.

What are the benefits?

Accuracy - no shaping or sanding, and no guesswork. The entire process is controlled: foam density, resin content, and fin inserts.

Low waste - no shaping means no shaping waste. The cloth is laid dry, so remnants can be recycled. The resin is measured by weight and applied without dripping onto the floor.

Durability in use - biaxial cloth is stronger than regular woven cloth, and a lot of it can be used thanks to the efficient layup. The blanks consist of high-density EPS, and epoxy resin is stronger than polyester.

Environmentally conscious - a low-waste process plus a long lifespan means less impact. Production runs on solar energy. All materials are sourced locally. Shipping is done in slim, bleach-free boxes with plastic-free filling. The fin boxes are made from GRS and UL certified recycled plastic.

How do they surf?

The feel is similar to that of PU. The extra fiberglass allows them to absorb vibrations well, without the super light response of the TEC. They have a pleasant light, neutral feel: responsive yet forgiving.

About Torq

Torq is a surfboard brand known for its pressed epoxy constructions with Shield Skin, which keep boards remarkably strong and light.
